London, United Kingdom, January 2026 – Francois Basselot has stepped into the role of Managing Director for Egis in the UK & Ireland, marking a strategic move to further integrate operations across the two markets. Commenting on his appointment, Basselot emphasized that bringing teams in both countries closer together will enhance Egis’s ability to support clients across transport, water, energy, and the built environment, enabling the delivery of infrastructure that communities depend upon.
Prior to this appointment, Francois Basselot served within Egis as Managing Director, Energy & Sustainable Cities – Europe & Africa for over two years. In that role, he held full P&L responsibility and led the development and execution of strategy across architecture, nuclear, environment, water, and energy portfolios. He oversaw financial planning, project methodologies, and talent management, positioning the business line for sustainable growth across multiple geographies.
