Singapore, October 2025 — Gagan Sawhney has joined The HEINEKEN Company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Asia-Pacific (APAC). In this strategic leadership role, he will oversee HEINEKEN’s financial strategy and operations across one of its fastest-growing regions, driving sustainable growth and business transformation through strong financial stewardship and operational excellence.
With a career spanning over 26 years, Gagan brings a wealth of international finance experience across emerging and developed markets. Prior to joining HEINEKEN, he served at Procter & Gamble for more than two decades, holding several senior global and regional finance leadership positions.
Most recently, he was Vice President, Manila Service Center & Global External Reporting, where he led global finance operations and strengthened financial reporting frameworks across markets. Earlier, as Regional CFO – Middle East & Africa, Gagan steered P&G’s financial planning and governance across diverse geographies, enabling strategic growth in challenging environments.
Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer & Board Director – India at P&G, where he drove business transformation, financial efficiency, and compliance excellence across the company’s India operations. His earlier experience also includes key finance and leadership roles across Asia and the Middle East, shaping his deep understanding of cross-cultural teams and global finance ecosystems.
Gagan began his professional journey with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) as a Project Engineer before pursuing his MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He also completed an exchange program in Finance at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, reflecting his global academic and professional perspective.
