In his new role, Gaurav Baveja will lead Somos’ global finance organization and work closely with the executive leadership team and the Board to guide disciplined, sustainable growth. His appointment supports Somos’ mission of delivering secure, reliable registry management and data solutions in an increasingly digital and interconnected ecosystem.
Gaurav brings over 25 years of financial and operational leadership experience across technology and telecommunications. Most recently, he served as **Chief Financial Officer and Board Observer at Tonaquint Data Centers, where he was responsible for finance leadership, operational oversight, and supporting the company’s expansion in business-critical colocation and interconnection services. Alongside this role, he has been working as a **Fractional CFO and Corporate Advisor at GAARD Corporation, advising organizations on financial strategy and governance.
Prior to that, Gaurav was **Chief Financial Officer and Board Advisor at Vyntelligence, where he oversaw finance, accounting, strategic partnerships, and North American expansion initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly six years at Vonage—including during its acquisition by Ericsson—holding senior leadership roles such as SVP, Finance and Operations (CFO and COO), Applications Group, VP, Corporate FP&A, and Senior Director, Corporate Strategy and Development, contributing to financial transformation, strategic growth, and operational scale.
Gaurav began his career in investment banking and financial services, holding senior roles at Wells Fargo in technology and telecom M&A, Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank, following earlier consulting experience at Deloitte Consulting. His background spans capital markets, M&A, corporate finance, FP&A, and executive leadership across complex, regulated environments.
