Herent, Flemish Region, Belgium, December 2024 – Geneviève Petit has been appointed as the Head of People – Belux at Ericsson, a global leader in communications technology and services. In her new role, Geneviève will oversee the People Function across Belgium and Luxembourg, managing talent development, succession planning, performance management, and key people-focused initiatives. Her leadership will be instrumental in fostering constructive dialogue with social partners and driving transformative people strategies.
Geneviève joins Ericsson with a rich background in talent management and organizational development. Most recently, she served at Donaldson as the Global HR Partner for Talent Management (Leadership & Succession), where she spearheaded global talent reviews, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning.

Before that, Geneviève led the EMEA Talent Team at Donaldson, overseeing learning and leadership development, talent acquisition, and well-being programs for over 4,400 employees across the region.
Her prior role at D’Ieteren as Talent Manager saw her develop competency frameworks, lead employee surveys, and implement leadership 360-degree reviews. Earlier, she spent over six years at Puratos, where she progressed through roles including HR Business Partner and Learning & Development Manager, aligning HR practices with business objectives and fostering strong union relationships.
Geneviève’s early career included impactful roles at Enginium Group as a Recruitment Team Leader and Ebbinge as a Campus Recruiter, where she honed her expertise in recruitment and employer branding.
