Eindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands – November 2024 – Salvia BioElectronics has welcomed Ger Kamminga as the new Vice President of Quality. In his new role, Ger will lead efforts to uphold the highest quality standards in bringing Salvia’s pioneering migraine solutions to market, aligning closely with the organization’s mission to provide life-enhancing therapies to individuals with migraines.
Ger brings with him over 20 years of experience in quality management within the healthcare and medical device sectors. Prior to joining Salvia BioElectronics, Ger held several significant roles at Philips, where he served as Head of Quality – Market DACH and Benelux for nearly four years, focusing on regulatory compliance and quality system adherence across Philips’ DACH and Benelux markets. Before that, he was Head of Market Q&R – Benelux, ensuring robust quality and regulatory frameworks.
Earlier in his career, Ger worked with LivaNova as Director of Global Commercial Quality and Director of Quality Operations (acting), where he integrated regulatory compliance into commercial processes across LivaNova’s global operations. During his tenure at Cyberonics Europe BVBA, Ger contributed as Director of Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical by leading complaint management, regulatory support, and clinical studies.
Ger’s career journey also includes time with Baxter Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson’s Cordis Division, where he built expertise in complaint handling, field corrective actions, and quality systems management. He began his career in manufacturing engineering at Cordis Europa NV, developing new product processes and validating manufacturing systems.
