Houston, Texas, United States, December 2025 – Gerardo Ruiz has stepped into the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Insulation Technology Group, bringing with him more than two decades of strategic HR leadership across global manufacturing, energy, and chemical sectors. In this pivotal role, Gerardo will lead HR strategy and culture transformation across the group’s global portfolio, including the renowned brands LAPP Insulators, PPC Insulators, and Cerisol.
Prior to his current position, Gerardo served as Principal Consultant at Ergon Leadership & Culture Partners LLC, where he advised high-stakes industries on workforce optimization, union dynamics, and leadership culture—particularly during M&A transitions and operational shifts. His ability to align HR frameworks with operational goals has positioned him as a trusted advisor in complex environments.
Earlier, Gerardo served as Vice President, Human Resources at Vibrantz Technologies Inc., where he played a key leadership role during the merger of three global entities, leading to the creation of a $2 billion enterprise. He successfully drove global HR integration, led change management efforts, and implemented cost-saving initiatives, improving productivity and employee engagement.
At Prince International Corporation, Gerardo held multiple leadership roles including Global HR Director and HR Director – Americas, spearheading global culture transformation, succession planning, and internal promotions during a time of significant corporate change. His leadership contributed to organizational resilience, improved safety metrics, and operational continuity.
Earlier in his career, he held senior HR leadership roles at Arconic, Alcoa, and Thomas & Betts (ABB Group), where he consistently demonstrated expertise in union negotiations, safety enhancement, leadership development, and strategic workforce planning. Gerardo began his HR career with John Deere in Monterrey, Mexico, where he led recruitment and performance management programs.
