Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2024 – Tata Electronics ( A Tata Group Enterprise) has appointed Gowri Kustagi as Head of Talent Management & BHR- EMS. In this role, Gowri will oversee talent development strategies and lead HR operations for the EMS division, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision to foster a dynamic and innovative workplace culture.
Prior to this role, Gowri served as the General Manager and Head of TAS at Tata Group, where she led strategic initiatives for the TAS program, driving talent acquisition, career transitions, and leadership development across the Group. Her efforts focused on enhancing the internal and external branding of TAS while managing significant talent-related operations.
Before her time at Tata Group, Gowri was the L&D and Diversity Partner for ABB, where she spearheaded diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, talent management, and leadership development for the AMEA region. She played a crucial role in enabling business growth by developing and executing global talent strategies.
In her earlier role as the Head of L&D and Leadership Development at ABB India, Gowri was instrumental in developing the company’s leadership capabilities, driving a learning culture, and ensuring alignment with the business’s evolving needs. Her work significantly contributed to the organization’s ability to meet its growth targets.
Gowri also held the position of Training Manager at Manhattan Associates, where she successfully set up a comprehensive learning function from the ground up, managing talent and leadership development for over 2,000 employees.
