Milford, Connecticut, United States, April 2025 – Greg Lyons has officially taken on the role of Global Chief Marketing Officer at Subway, effective May 2025. In this high-impact role, Lyons will lead Subway’s global efforts in marketing, analytics and insights, digital innovation, and culinary strategy.
Greg Lyons brings with him a legacy of over 25 years at PepsiCo, where he most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for North America Beverages, overseeing a $28 billion portfolio and leading a team of over 500 marketers. Under his leadership, iconic brands such as Mountain Dew, Gatorade, and Pepsi saw breakthrough campaigns and consistent growth.
Prior to his CMO role, he served as Senior Vice President Marketing, spearheading innovation and global strategy for the Mountain Dew brand, which included launching the award-winning Mountain Dew Kickstart. He also held senior marketing roles at Walkers Snacks in the UK, and PepsiCo Beverages in Canada, demonstrating global strategic capabilities across multiple regions and product categories.
Lyons began his career as a Senior Analyst at Marketing Corporation of America, before joining Frito Lay, where he held numerous brand management roles and drove category growth through innovative marketing strategies.
Alongside his corporate achievements, Greg Lyons serves on the Board of Directors at Tropicana Brands Group, Starbucks (NACP), and the Association of National Advertisers. He also actively contributes to academic thought leadership as a guest lecturer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
