Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2026 — Policybazaar.com (PB Partners) has appointed Gandharv Shah as Head HR & Training, effective December 2025.
In his expanded leadership role, Shah will oversee the human resources and training strategy for PB Partners, focusing on strengthening people practices, leadership capability building, and performance-driven culture initiatives to support the organization’s continued growth in India’s online insurance marketplace.
Shah has been associated with Policybazaar.com (PB Partners) since May 2025, when he joined as Head HR, and has since played a key role in shaping HR strategy and workforce alignment. His elevation to Head HR & Training reflects the organization’s confidence in his ability to integrate talent development with business priorities.
Prior to joining Policybazaar.com, Shah held multiple leadership roles at Aditya Birla Capital, including Lead – Compensation & Benefits, ABSLI, Lead – HR Strategy & Projects – Prop Channel, ABSLI, and Head HR – Direct Marketing, ABSLI. During his tenure, he was recognized as “ABC Next Gen HR Leader” in FY 24-25 and earlier as “ABC Emerging HR Leader” in FY 22-23, underscoring his impact across HR transformation and strategic initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he served in HR leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he progressed from Chief Manager – HRBP to Associate Vice President – HR Business Partner, driving HR business partnering across key functions. He also gained experience at ICICI Bank and Hero MotoCorp Ltd, where he led initiatives in training and development, performance management systems, manpower planning, HR analytics, and process standardization.
Shah holds a PGP-HR from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and brings over a decade of experience across banking, financial services, and manufacturing sectors.
With a strong foundation in HR strategy, compensation & benefits, business partnering, and training leadership, Shah is well-positioned to strengthen PB Partners’ people and capability agenda.
