Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Harshad Somnath Dighe has taken on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition at Emerson India. In this strategic leadership position, he will spearhead talent acquisition initiatives, align early career and leadership hiring strategies, and support Emerson’s mission to drive innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
Prior to this, Harshad served as Talent Acquisition & Diversity Leader at Honeywell International (India) Private Limited, where he led global talent acquisition programs across APAC, strengthened employer branding efforts, and focused on diversity hiring and talent analytics for large-scale projects. His role emphasized strategic workforce planning, graduate hiring, and leadership hiring initiatives that built high-performing teams across geographies.
Earlier, Harshad was associated with Emerson Automation Solutions as Talent Acquisition Leader, where he managed global and niche hiring mandates, introduced recruitment technologies, and developed campus placement strategies. His efforts helped streamline Emerson’s talent acquisition framework in India, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives across business verticals.
Harshad began his career journey with stints at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited as Manager – Talent Acquisition, Tata Motors as Human Resources Manager, and Infosys Technologies Limited as Business Executive, building a solid foundation in recruiting, leadership hiring, and HR operations across automotive, manufacturing, and IT industries. He holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Pune University.
