Heidi Capozzi Appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at CVS Health

Woonsocket, Rhode Island, United States, October 2024 – CVS Health has announced the appointment of Heidi Capozzi as the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. In her new role, Heidi will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of CVS Health’s human resources strategy, labor relations, compensation and benefits, as well as the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts. As part of the leadership team, she will work closely with colleagues across the organization to foster a strong workplace culture and advance CVS Health’s mission to improve health outcomes for all.

Before McDonald’s, Heidi spent more than a decade at Boeing, where she held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources. At Boeing, she led HR initiatives that supported leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce transformation. Her work helped align talent strategies with the company’s long-term goals during a period of significant growth and innovation.

Heidi began her HR career at Northrop Grumman, where she spent seven years in various leadership positions, gaining deep expertise in compensation management and HR operations. She later took on senior HR roles at Insitu Inc., a subsidiary of Boeing, where she led internal services and human resources.

Heidi is a member of the board of directors Human Resources Policy Association (HRPA) and Cornell University Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College in political science and East Asian studies and earned a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota.
