Hamburg, Germany, July 2026 — GE HealthCare has elevated Helge Langenkaemper to Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), entrusting him with leadership of the company’s global Integrated Supply Chain organization.
Announcing his new role, Helge shared:

Helge assumes the role after serving as Chief Operating Officer, Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) since January 2025, where he led operational strategy and execution for GE HealthCare’s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics business.
Prior to that, he spent four years as Global Integrated Supply Chain Leader – Pharmaceutical Diagnostics, overseeing end-to-end global supply chain operations, including manufacturing strategy, forecasting, logistics, inventory management, order fulfillment, revenue delivery, and new product introductions.
Before joining GE HealthCare in 2021, Helge built more than a decade of global operations and supply chain leadership experience at Philips. During his eleven-year tenure, he held several senior executive positions, including Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Systems & Medical Devices, where he led the global supply chain for three healthcare business clusters and managed a globally connected team of approximately 1,500 employees.
Earlier at Philips, he served as Vice President, Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning – Diagnosis & Treatment, Vice President, Global Operations – Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Senior Director, Operations – Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Director, Operations – Diagnostic X-Ray, leading global manufacturing, procurement, logistics, operational excellence, and supply chain transformation initiatives across multiple healthcare businesses.
Helge also spent over six years with Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe as Production and Supply Chain Manager, where he led manufacturing and supply chain operations, including the establishment of lean manufacturing capabilities and a new production facility in Eastern Europe. He began his career with Coherent LaserSystems GmbH & Co KG as a Manufacturing Engineer, followed by an assignment as Project Manager at AB HUR OY in Finland.
With more than 25 years of international leadership experience spanning medical technology, diagnostics, manufacturing, operations, and global supply chain management, Helge has built deep expertise in operational excellence, lean transformation, sales and operations planning (S&OP), manufacturing strategy, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain optimization.
