Baghdad, Iraq, December 2025 — Huda Faisal has been appointed as Head of Marketing – Iraq at Al Awsat Distribution, marking a significant milestone in her extensive marketing career. In her new role, she will steer strategic marketing initiatives across Iraq, strengthen market presence, and contribute to the organisation’s ongoing pursuit of growth and consumer engagement.
Before joining Al Awsat Distribution, Huda Faisal served at Al Marmouka, an Abudawood Group Company, where she held the role of Project Manager. During this period, she contributed to key initiatives that supported commercial growth and operational effectiveness across the Iraqi market.
Earlier, she spent nearly nine years at Abudawood Group (Almarmouka), where she served as Category Manager – Trade Marketing. Across close to nine years, she built deep expertise in category strategy, brand positioning, and channel execution—strengthening her ability to lead large-scale trade marketing programs and drive consumer-focused initiatives at scale.
Prior to that, Huda Faisal held multiple leadership roles within Abudawood Group, including Brand Manager, Marketing Team Leader, and Brand Executive. Over these years, she shaped and executed brand-building initiatives, strengthened marketing operations, and managed cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results across the consumer goods landscape in Iraq.
Her early career included roles as Assistant Trade Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator in Baghdad, where she began building her strong foundation in marketing operations, brand activation, and trade engagement—setting the stage for her steady rise into senior marketing leadership.
