With more than 20 years of international leadership experience spanning human resources, business transformation, organizational strategy, operational leadership, and executive management, Hugo Martinho brings extensive expertise in leading large-scale organizational change across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. His appointment reflects Lucid’s commitment to strengthening enterprise transformation as it scales its global operations.
Prior to joining Lucid, Hugo took a brief career transition following his tenure as Chief Human Resources Officer at Schindler Group, where he led the company’s global people strategy, organizational transformation, leadership development, and workforce initiatives. Before assuming the global CHRO role, he served as Head of Human Resources – Europe North, overseeing HR strategy and organizational effectiveness across the region.
Earlier in his career, Hugo held several senior international leadership positions within the Schindler Group, including Human Resources Director – Asia Pacific, Human Resources Director – Asia Pacific, India & Middle East, and Human Resources Director – Asia Pacific based in Shanghai. He also served as Managing Director, Singapore & Myanmar for Jardine Schindler Group, leading business operations and market growth, and previously held the role of Human Resources Director at Jardine Schindler Group in Hong Kong. His unique combination of business leadership and human capital expertise positions him well to drive enterprise-wide transformation at Lucid during its next phase of growth.
