Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — HP Inc. has appointed Dirk Lewis to lead its India Market Communications function.
In his new role, Lewis will be responsible for shaping HP’s overall communications strategy for the India market, including corporate and product communications, thought leadership, media relations, content strategy, agency management, and the localisation of HP’s global narratives, campaigns, and activations for Indian audiences.
Lewis brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications, reputation management, brand storytelling, crisis communications, and marketing across global technology companies, consumer brands, consulting firms, and startups.
Prior to joining HP, he served as Director – Corporate Communications, Online Reputation Management and Sustainability at Tata Digital, where he led enterprise communications, reputation management, CEO communications, sustainability initiatives, and the communications strategy surrounding the launch of Tata Neu.
Earlier in his career, Lewis held senior communications leadership roles at MSLGROUP India, Text100, Wipro, FleishmanHillard, Gartner, Vaishnavi Corporate Communications, Genesis BCW, and Hanmer MS&L. He also co-founded entrepreneurial ventures including Dirk Da Dhobi and Langoor Spins, gaining experience in business building alongside strategic communications.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and an Advanced Diploma in Advertising, Marketing and Communication from the Xavier Institute of Communications.
