Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has revealed significant alterations to its Management Committee, with BP Biddappa assuming the role of Executive Director, Human Resources, and Chief People, Transformation and Sustainability Officer for South Asia. Additionally, his appointment as a Whole Time Director on the HUL Board awaits shareholder ratification.
Biddappa’s responsibilities will encompass leading the region’s people strategy and spearheading transformational initiatives across business, organizational, and environmental domains.
Anuradha Razdan, the current Executive Director of Human Resources for HUL and Chief HR Officer for South Asia, is set to transition to a global position within Unilever as Chief Reward & Organization Development Officer. This shift will take effect from June 1, 2024.
With a robust career spanning over three decades at Unilever, Biddappa has previously held key positions including Chief HR Officer for Global Home Care and Head of Global Employee Relations. His tenure at HUL was marked by significant contributions such as the development of the “Winning in Many Indias” strategy and the Prabhat community initiative, which has positively impacted over 10 million Indians.
