Pune, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Indraneil Adhikari has been elevated to Global Head of GSCs – Transfer Agency at Apex Group Ltd. In this newly created role, he will lead the definition and execution of Apex Group’s global Transfer Agency strategy across all GSC locations, with a focus on enhancing service delivery and elevating client experience. Indraneil will continue to report to Akshay Thakurdesai and also retain his responsibilities as Regional Head for TA – India, APAC, Middle East & Africa, driving operational excellence across these key markets.
Indraneil joined Apex Group Ltd. earlier this year and has already been instrumental in scaling operations as Senior Director and Regional Head of Operations for TA in India, APAC, Middle East & Africa. In addition, he has been serving as Site Head for Apex’s Pune East branch, aligning local delivery with global standards and contributing to the company’s growth in India.
Prior to Apex, Indraneil built a distinguished career at BNY Mellon, where he spent more than 16 years in leadership roles across transfer agency and investor solutions. Most recently, he was Head of Investor Solutions Operations for Asia Pacific, managing transfer agency for both mainstream and alternative products across the region. Earlier, he also served as Head of Alternatives TA and Benefit Disbursements – India, where he oversaw teams supporting hedge funds, private equity, and real estate products, achieving significant operational efficiencies.
His earlier tenure at BNY Mellon also included roles as Head of Alternatives TA – India and leadership assignments in benefit disbursements and operational transformation. He successfully drove process improvements, strengthened client relationships, and enhanced service delivery models while managing large teams across Pune and Chennai.
Indraneil began his career with roles at Tela Sourcing and Option One Mortgage, where he gained valuable experience in process management, client delivery, and team leadership. These early roles provided him with a strong operational foundation that he carried into his extensive career in financial services.
