Ghent Metropolitan Area, Belgium, June 2025 – Ines De Maere has begun her new role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Alfabet Real Estate, the holding company renowned for its leadership in the PropTech, construction, and real estate sector, with ERA as its flagship brand. Ines steps into this pivotal role, leading people strategy and talent transformation across a growing portfolio of innovative companies, uniting human capital initiatives with Alfabet’s vision of “digital meets human” and building high-impact HR systems to enable organizational excellence.
Prior to joining Alfabet, Ines was the HR Leader and Zaakvoerder at Itero Consulting Services B.V., where she drove executive development and human capital management initiatives as a self-employed consultant, shaping people strategy for diverse clients.
Previously, Ines served as Head of HR at Fiberklaar, leading the HR department through the organization’s critical growth from start-up to scale-up in Flanders’ fiber optic sector. She successfully restructured HR processes, championed a performance-driven culture, and fostered strong leadership team alignment.
Her earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Euroclear, where she was responsible for HR program management and business partnering, collaborating with senior leaders and project teams to prepare organizational and headcount materials for effective consultation and negotiation with works councils, and co-creating renewed cultural and people processes.
Before that, Ines held consulting roles at Attentia, aligning people management activities with business strategy, and spent several years as HR Manager Benelux at Philip Morris International and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, as well as senior HR leadership roles at SunGard and Pioneer Europe. Across her extensive career, she has excelled in executive development, organizational change management, and strategic human resources leadership.
