Athens, Attiki, Greece, September 2024 – Plaisio – Πλαίσιο, Greece’s leading tech retail company, has announced the appointment of Ioanna Kounoupi as their new Chief People Officer. In her role, Ioanna will oversee the entire HR function, working closely with leadership to enhance the company’s talent acquisition strategies, employee engagement, and organizational development. Her expertise will drive Plaisio’s efforts to further solidify its position as a leader in innovation and customer experience.

Before joining Plaisio, Ioanna served as the Human Resources Director at QUALCO, where she managed key HR functions, including talent acquisition, rewards, employee engagement, and learning and development. Ioanna led strategic initiatives to redesign HR processes and align them with business goals, ensuring an excellent employee experience across the organization.

Prior to her role at QUALCO, Ioanna worked as the Director of Talent Development, also at QUALCO, where she shaped the company’s talent development roadmap. She was instrumental in designing and executing career development frameworks, performance management systems, and leadership programs, helping to enhance employee growth and retention.

Earlier in her career, Ioanna held the position of Manager of People and Sales at RiseSmart, where she was responsible for managing career transition and development programs. She worked closely with clients to develop organizational design solutions, assessment centers, and restructuring plans, helping businesses navigate talent mobility services.

Ioanna’s journey also includes over a decade at Randstad Hellas, where she held various roles, including Commercial Manager and HR Consultancy Manager. During her time there, she developed recruitment plans, mentored teams, and led high-impact HR initiatives focused on staffing, outplacement, and career development.
