New York, United States, September 2025 – Sony North America has appointed Isabel Ysassi as Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources. In her new role, Isabel will lead HR strategy and operations across Sony’s businesses in the region, supporting the company’s vision of blending creativity and technology to deliver exceptional experiences worldwide.
Before rejoining Sony, Isabel was Head of Global Human Resources at LivePerson, where she led HR across North America, EMEA, and APAC for over two years. Her tenure included driving transformation initiatives, strengthening DEI strategies, and supporting global workforce planning and employee engagement.
Previously, she held several leadership roles at Sony Electronics over a span of five years, including Director, Head of HR Business Partners and Talent Management, where she managed talent strategy and organizational development initiatives for Sony’s U.S. operations.
Earlier, Isabel played a significant role at Sony Interactive Entertainment as Director of HR Business Partners, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition – Worldwide Studios, where she partnered closely with global gaming teams to deliver HR solutions during a period of growth and innovation.
She began her HR journey with roles at Ericsson in Latin America, where she served as Regional HR Business Partner, and at Breg, where she managed HR operations. Isabel also brings unique experience from her early career with the United States Marine Corps, where she served as Manager, Field Communications.
