Chicago, Illinois, USA, September 2024 — Jamar Johnson-Thompson has been appointed as the Head of People & Performance IT at Kraft Heinz. In his new role, Jamar will lead the integration and optimization of IT systems supporting the company’s people and performance functions, contributing to the development of innovative technologies that drive organizational efficiency and employee engagement across Kraft Heinz’s global operations.
Before joining Kraft Heinz, Jamar served as the Vice President of People Technology at Avalara, where he led the transformation of HR technology initiatives and oversaw the implementation of strategic IT solutions to improve employee experience and operational effectiveness.
Prior to Avalara, Jamar was the Vice President, Head of HR Technology at AmerisourceBergen, where he managed enterprise-level HR system deployments and digital transformations. Earlier, he spent over a decade at Comcast in various IT leadership roles, including Director of HR Tech Delivery & User Experience. In these roles, he spearheaded the delivery of cutting-edge IT solutions, driving advancements in HR technology and user experience.
In addition to his corporate roles, Jamar serves on several boards, including as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Uplift Center for Grieving Children and as an Advisory Board Member for Arena Analytics, where he contributes to ethical governance and strategic decision-making.
