With extensive leadership experience across logistics and transportation, James is poised to drive the company’s growth while ensuring safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness remain at the core of operations.

Before joining Ron Finemore Transport, James Dixon served as Divisional General Manager South (Vic-Tas, SA, WA, NT) at Australia Post for over 2 years. In this role, he oversaw operations across four regions, implementing innovative solutions to streamline logistics and enhance customer service.

James also held the position of General Manager Networks, eCommerce Deliveries at Australia Post for nearly 10 years. During this tenure, he played a crucial role in scaling eCommerce delivery operations and strengthening the company’s logistics network.

In addition to his roles at Australia Post, James has contributed his expertise as a Non-Executive Director at the Australian Trucking Association and a Director at the Australian Logistics Council, where he focused on shaping industry standards and policies to improve logistics and transportation across Australia.

Before these leadership roles, James gained substantial experience as Chief Operating Officer at PFD Food Services and President, Retail Asia Pacific at Linfox, where he successfully managed complex supply chains and operational strategies across multiple regions.
