Gurugram, Haryana, India, May 2025 – Janhavi Malhotra has been promoted to Director – Human Resources at Tata 1mg, India’s leading healthcare platform. In her elevated role, she will lead strategic initiatives to enhance employee experience, internal communications, HR business partnering across six corporate functions, and CSR and volunteering frameworks aligned with Tata 1mg’s core values.
Janhavi joined Tata 1mg over two years ago and has since played a transformative role in shaping the organization’s employee engagement and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) agenda. As Senior Manager, she led the design and implementation of the internal communications charter for 4000+ employees and created a strong foundation for inclusive workplace practices.
Prior to joining Tata 1mg, Janhavi held leadership positions at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), where she was responsible for high-potential talent development, ethics and grievance redressal, and performance management. She has also contributed significantly to HR operations and employee engagement in various roles at Taj Hotels, where she introduced innovative practices such as gamification in recruitment and strategic internal communication initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Janhavi volunteered with NHS Lambeth in the UK and held internship roles with Marriott International and Taj Hotels, gaining exposure to global best practices in HR and organizational development.
