New York, United States, August 2024 – Janna Gitlin has taken on the role of Director of People Operations at Pace Gallery, where she will be responsible for overseeing human resources strategies and initiatives that align with the gallery’s mission to support its artists and advance its global program.
Before her promotion, Janna served as Associate Director of People Operations at Pace Gallery for two years. In this role, she played a key part in managing HR functions and fostering a positive work environment, contributing to the gallery’s continued success.
Prior to joining Pace Gallery, Janna worked at AFTRA Retirement Fund for over 14 years, where she held multiple roles including Senior Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Generalist. Her long tenure at AFTRA Retirement Fund allowed her to gain extensive experience in HR management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Janna’s career in HR began at Purchase College, SUNY, where she served as an HR Associate. Her early experience in higher education provided her with a strong foundation in human resources that has been instrumental throughout her career.
