Prior to joining Design Studio, Jayasiri Pathiraja served as a Visiting Lecturer at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) in Sri Lanka, engaging students through dynamic online courses and real-world HR applications for over three years.
Before his academic tenure, Pathiraja was involved at Ley Choon Group Holdings Ltd as a Human Resources Management Consultant. Over nearly two years, he enhanced HR policies, talent management strategies, and performance appraisal systems, significantly impacting the organization’s operational success.
Earlier Career: Jayasiri held significant roles at NMK Holdings Private Limited and Mirrai Pvt Ltd, leading comprehensive HR functions that included recruitment, training, compliance, and employee relations. His strategic HR management greatly contributed to aligning workforce strategies with corporate goals.
Design Studio is renowned for producing high-end ladieswear for prominent UK and European retailers. Committed to sustainable practices and ethical business standards, it maintains a robust workforce of over 3000 members across multiple facilities.
