Nyon, Vaud, Switzerland, March 2026 – Edwards Lifesciences has appointed Jean Cheng Ogrisek as Global Director, Organizational Effectiveness, strengthening its leadership as it continues to advance innovation in global healthcare and medical technology.
In her new role, Jean will lead large-scale organizational effectiveness and transformation initiatives, focusing on operating model design, workforce planning, and enabling strategic business outcomes through people-centric transformation. Her appointment reflects Edwards Lifesciences’ continued investment in building agile, high-performing organizations to support its global growth.
In her current role at Edwards Lifesciences, Jean Cheng Ogrisek leads high-impact organizational effectiveness initiatives across multiple business units, advising senior leadership on workforce strategy, operating model design, and transformation agendas.
Prior to this, she spent over a decade at Bayer in multiple global leadership roles, most recently as Global Director – Organizational Change Management Lead, where she led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives under Bayer’s CORE (Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise) program, driving change strategy across functions including supply chain, finance, and manufacturing.
Earlier at Bayer, she served as Global Director – Transformational Culture & Engagement Lead and Global Senior Consultant, where she drove large-scale cultural transformation, engagement strategies, and organization development programs across divisions, supporting enterprise-wide change and performance excellence initiatives.
She also held key roles at Novartis and Visa, leading global talent management, leadership development, and organization development initiatives across regions, including Asia Pacific and global headquarters functions.
In the early phase of her career, Jean worked with Accenture and IBM, focusing on change management consulting, leadership development, and organizational capability building, gaining strong foundations in transformation and advisory roles across industries.
Jean holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, equipping her with a strong academic foundation in organizational behavior and leadership development.
