Gig Harbor, Washington, April 2024 – Continental Floral Greens proudly announces the appointment of Jean Prosio as Vice President of Human Resources. With over 20 years of experience in HR management, Jean will lead HR operations, shaping strategic workforce initiatives to support Continental Floral Greens’ mission and growth.
Jean brings a wealth of HR leadership expertise to Continental Floral Greens, having most recently served as Human Resources Director at AAA Washington from October 2022 to April 2024. Here, she led HR operations for 575 employees across 30 locations, providing strategic guidance in areas such as talent management, employee relations, training, and development. Jean directly supervised a team of seven HR professionals and two receptionists.
Before joining AAA Washington, Jean was the Human Resources Director at Kitsap Credit Union, where she led the HR department from May 2021 to October 2022. In this role, she managed HR functions for 300 employees across 14 locations, focusing on change management, policy implementation, and workforce planning.
From October 2013 to May 2021, Jean worked at Milgard Windows and Doors in various roles, including Senior Human Resources Manager and HR Business Partner. Leading a team of four HR professionals, she managed HR operations in three states and Canada for around 500 employees, driving talent acquisition, performance management, and strategic HR initiatives.
Her earlier career includes roles at Simpson Strong-Tie as Employee Services Coordinator (2012-2013) and Frontier Behavioral Health as Human Resource Generalist (2007-2012). Jean also gained experience in the public sector through positions with the USAF Civilian Personnel and Department of Defense Education Activity.
