Arvika, Sweden, January 2025 – Jeanette Widén has taken on the role of Head of People & Culture Purchasing and Sweden at Volvo Construction Equipment. In this role, Jeanette will oversee key people and culture strategies, driving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness across purchasing and Swedish operations.
Jeanette has been with Volvo Construction Equipment for over 24 years, holding various significant roles. Most recently, she served as Head of HR Sweden & Arvika for five years, where she was instrumental in shaping HR strategies and fostering a positive work culture.

Before that, she worked as an HR Manager for seven years, where she managed HR operations and contributed to team development in Arvika. Jeanette also held the position of Human Resource Business Partner for over 12 years, where she supported organizational growth and employee relations.
Prior to joining Volvo CE, Jeanette was an Employment Agent at The Swedish Public Employment Service, where she dedicated three years to supporting employment initiatives and career development.
