National Capital Region, Philippines, October 2024 – Jeff Mapalo has taken on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition & HR Analytics at San Miguel Foods, where he will lead efforts in talent acquisition and drive HR analytics for the company. He will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, optimizing recruitment processes, and enhancing employee data insights.
Before joining San Miguel Foods, Jeff held the position of VP, Human Resources at Citi for over three years, where he oversaw HR operations and led various strategic projects, including talent pipelining and data analysis. His experience in recruiting and managing HR processes was instrumental in delivering HR service excellence across the organization.
Prior to his time at Citi, Jeff served as Regional HR Service Delivery Leader – Asia Pacific at Johnson & Johnson, where he played a key role in transforming HR service delivery through innovative processes and tools, with a strong focus on business process outsourcing and data-driven decision-making.
Jeff also spent over 13 years at IBM, where he held various leadership roles, including Business Operations Leader – Quote to Cash and Regional Sales Operations Lead – North America. His tenure at IBM helped him hone his skills in shared services, business operations, and financial analysis, further enhancing his capabilities in both HR and business management.
In addition, Jeff’s extensive career includes managing HR services and operations across multiple geographies, adding a depth of experience to his ability to handle HR complexities at scale.
