Singapore, December 2024 – Jeffrey Tay has been named Head of Human Resources at SPD Scientific, where he will oversee HR operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. With over 15 years of extensive HR experience in strategic planning, leadership development, and change management, Jeffrey is well-positioned to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive regional talent initiatives.
Prior to his new role, Jeffrey served as Human Resources Manager – Asia at EagleBurgmann, leading HR for regions including Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Korea for nearly two years. Before that, he held the position of Human Resources Manager at Energizer Holdings, managing key HR functions in Singapore for over two years.
Earlier in his career, Jeffrey was Human Resources Manager at Leica Geosystems, where he supported the HR needs of the Singapore division. At IMI Norgren, he served as HR Manager for Southeast Asia, playing a pivotal role in consolidating the company’s HR operations and aligning them with regional growth strategies.
Jeffrey’s career also includes a significant tenure at Nestlé Singapore, where he led the HR team at the Jurong Factory and successfully concluded key industrial relations agreements. Additionally, at Ingersoll Rand, he contributed to job evaluation, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, solidifying his reputation as a seasoned HR professional.
