Doha, Qatar, March 2025 – University of Doha for Science & Technology (UDST) has announced the appointment of Jelena Saric as Head of Talent Acquisition, recognizing her expertise in strategic recruitment, workforce planning, and HR transformation. In this new role, Jelena will lead talent acquisition strategies, optimize hiring processes, and strengthen employer branding to support UDST’s mission of academic excellence and applied education.
Prior to this promotion, Jelena Saric served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at UDST, where she played a pivotal role in streamlining recruitment strategies, implementing best practices in hiring, and enhancing talent mobility within the institution.
Before joining UDST, she spent over five years at the Government of Alberta, where she held key HR leadership roles, including Team Lead Talent Acquisition Services, Employee Relations Consultant, and Talent Acquisition & Mobility Consultant. She was instrumental in developing recruitment policies, driving DEI initiatives, and leading talent acquisition projects across government agencies.
Earlier in her career, Jelena worked at ATCO Electric, where she gained extensive experience in HR operations, recruitment coordination, and workforce planning, contributing to process optimization and HR transformation.
