Canada, February 2026 — American Express has promoted Jessica Myers-Bendavid to Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications, recognizing her long-standing leadership in corporate communications and social media strategy. In her expanded role, she will lead corporate affairs and communications initiatives across Canada, strengthening the company’s brand presence and stakeholder engagement.
Jessica Myers-Bendavid most recently served as Director, Corporate Affairs and Communications at American Express, where she led integrated communications strategies and advanced the company’s public affairs agenda. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping corporate messaging and strengthening stakeholder relationships across the Canadian market.
Earlier at American Express, she held senior leadership roles including Senior Manager and Manager, where she focused on building and executing social media strategies that delivered measurable business impact. She also served as Assistant Manager within the Public Affairs group, driving social media programs and digital engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining American Express, Myers-Bendavid worked at High Road Communications as Account Supervisor and Account Executive, where she developed expertise in client communications, brand strategy, and media relations.
