Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 — Jitendra Mangave has been appointed as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Metro Brands Limited, marking a strategic move by the company to deepen its digital-first approach. With over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and retail IT, Jitendra brings a wealth of expertise that will help strengthen Metro Brands’ focus on agility, scalability, and customer-centric innovation.
Before joining Metro Brands, Jitendra served as Vice President and Head of IT at Landmark Group, where he led large-scale digital transformation programs including SAP on Rise, Business Technology Platform (BTP) implementation, and advanced omnichannel integrations. His initiatives significantly enhanced fulfillment capabilities, productivity, and customer engagement across channels.
Earlier, as Group CIO/CTO at Future Group India, Jitendra oversaw end-to-end IT operations encompassing ERP, forecasting tools, master data management (MDM), PLM, WMS, RPA, and e-commerce systems, driving digital innovation at scale. In his tenure as Chief of SAP & Business Transaction Solutions, he managed a team of over 200 professionals and led major implementations including a seamless migration to SAP Suite on HANA.
He also held key roles at SAP India, Bajaj Auto Ltd, Raymond Ltd, and Arvind Limited, where he contributed to enterprise technology strategy, cost optimization, cloud migrations, analytics, and in-house implementations. His journey from SCM and PPC functions to IT leadership reflects a unique blend of business and technology acumen.
Jitendra’s appointment comes as Metro Brands Limited sharpens its digital backbone to enhance omnichannel experiences, strengthen inventory intelligence, and support its pan-India retail expansion across over 590+ stores and e-commerce platforms.
