Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Jivraj Papdiwal has been appointed as Head Procurement – Non Agriculture & Foods at Marico Limited, marking a significant leadership transition within the organization after more than 11 years of diverse and impactful contributions. In this new capacity, Jivraj will oversee the procurement strategies across Marico’s non-agriculture and food categories, playing a pivotal role in ensuring supply chain efficiency and resilience.
Prior to this elevation, Jivraj served as Head – Customer Service, Logistics & Warehousing at Marico, where he led end-to-end logistics and customer fulfillment operations. His role encompassed freight management, warehousing excellence, and strategic customer engagement, enhancing supply chain performance.
Previously, as Strategic Sourcing Manager, he drove cost-effective procurement strategies, reinforcing Marico’s sourcing capabilities across critical business lines. His prior stint as Manager – Central Planning had him orchestrating supply planning for Marico’s most complex product category, Value Added Hair Oils, contributing to nearly 30% of the company’s top line. He was also a member of Marico’s pioneering Young Board of Managers.
Before that, Jivraj held the position of Divisional Supply Chain Manager – South India, where he led warehouse and freight operations across five states and Goa, managing over ₹1,200 Cr in annual turnover and significantly optimizing logistics cost through vendor and transport optimization.
Jivraj’s journey began with Marico as a Management Trainee, working on the centralization and automation of the order management system. His experience in developing the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) module and streamlining processes for modern trade channels laid the groundwork for his rapid growth.
