Joanne Horne brings to the table an impressive tenure of over five years within ASC, previously holding the position of Executive Manager of People, Culture, and Safety. Her extensive experience in human resources, coupled with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the defence sector, positions her perfectly to lead ASC’s strategic initiatives in people management and workforce development.
Before her tenure at ASC, Horne demonstrated her HR expertise at WesTrac Cat, where she was the General Manager of People and Culture. In this role, she spearheaded the human resources strategy for WesTrac’s 3,000 employees and managed a diverse range of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, industrial relations strategy, and talent and capability development. Her leadership at WesTrac Cat notably contributed to enhancing the company’s overall strategy and operational success.
