Geneva, Switzerland, September 2025 – dss+ has officially announced the appointment of John Alexander as Chair of its Board of Directors, ushering in a new phase of strategic leadership for the global operational transformation firm.
Alexander brings a stellar legacy of boardroom leadership and growth strategy execution in private equity-backed global consulting firms. As the former CEO of ERM (2008–2017) and later its Chairman (2017–2019), he played a pivotal role in raising the firm’s valuation from $500 million to over $2 billion through successful private equity investment cycles. Since then, Alexander has continued to serve as Chairman and Investor at globally recognized firms such as HKA and PA Consulting, supporting leadership transitions, M&A strategy, and strong investor exits in partnership with leading firms like Carlyle and Jacobs.

Alexander holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Earth Sciences, completed the Senior Executive Corporate Finance course at the University of Oxford, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.
