Raritan, New Jersey, United States, July 2026 – Johnson & Johnson MedTech has appointed John Snyder as Finance Director – Global MedTech Deliver and Customer Solutions, expanding the responsibilities of a seasoned finance leader who has spent nearly two decades with Johnson & Johnson across enterprise, consumer, pharmaceutical, and MedTech businesses.
In his new role, Snyder will lead finance support for Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s global distribution, delivery, and customer solutions operations. He will be responsible for driving financial strategy, operational performance, supply chain and distribution finance, transformation initiatives, investment prioritization, and business planning to support the company’s mission of delivering innovative healthcare solutions to patients worldwide.
Prior to this appointment, Snyder served as Senior Finance Manager – Enterprise FP&A and Strategy Office at Johnson & Johnson, where he played a key role in enterprise-wide strategic planning, financial performance management, competitor analytics, and executive decision support. During his tenure, he helped develop the financial framework supporting Johnson & Johnson’s enterprise separation strategy, led the design of enterprise-level performance scorecards, and partnered closely with senior leadership on long-range financial planning and strategic initiatives.
Earlier, Snyder served as Senior Finance Manager – Wound Closure and Biosurgery Innovation at Ethicon, where he supported innovation platforms generating more than $4 billion in annual sales. He played a leading role in commercial finance strategy, product launch planning, platform portfolio management, and research and development investment decisions.
His earlier assignments at Johnson & Johnson included leadership positions across Global Human Resources Finance, North America Consumer Finance, DePuy Synthes, and the Global Pharmaceutical Supply Group, where he built extensive expertise in financial planning and analysis, business transformation, commercial finance, pricing strategy, operational finance, and enterprise performance management.
Throughout his career, Snyder has partnered with executive leadership teams across multiple business segments, helping drive strategic growth, operational efficiency, innovation investments, and organizational transformation. His appointment reflects Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s continued focus on strengthening financial leadership as it advances global supply chain capabilities, customer solutions, and healthcare delivery excellence.
