Jonnie Cahill Appointed as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, International Foods at PepsiCo

Purchase, New York, United States, April 2025 — Jonnie Cahill has joined PepsiCo as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, International Foods, officially starting his new role in April 2025. With over two decades of global marketing leadership experience across some of the world’s most recognized brands, Jonnie brings a dynamic and innovation-driven perspective to PepsiCo’s global team.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Jonnie Cahill spent nearly 13 years at The HEINEKEN Company, where he held multiple senior leadership roles. As Chief Marketing Officer USA, he led brand transformation initiatives, fueling Heineken’s market presence and consumer engagement in North America. Before that, as Global Executive Vice President for Low and No Alcohol, he played a pivotal role in expanding Heineken’s portfolio to meet evolving consumer demands worldwide. Earlier, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for Heineken in Russia, driving brand innovation and business growth in a highly competitive market.

Before his successful tenure at Heineken, Cahill worked at Telefónica in Dublin, serving first as Vice President of Communications and Sponsorships and later as Chief Marketing Officer, leading strategic brand and sponsorship initiatives across multiple consumer segments.

Earlier in his career, Jonnie Cahill spent over six years at Diageo, where he was instrumental in shaping the global marketing strategies for iconic brands such as Guinness and Budweiser. His work contributed to strengthening brand loyalty and expanding market share for these heritage brands in key markets.

With a career distinguished by building beloved global brands, pioneering innovation, and creating impactful consumer connections, Jonnie Cahill is poised to lead PepsiCo’s International Foods marketing strategy, further strengthening the company’s global footprint and connecting millions of consumers with its diverse food portfolio.
