In his new role at Runwal Enterprises, Joy will spearhead HR strategy, talent management, organizational culture, and leadership capability enhancement, aligning people and performance priorities with the company’s strategic growth trajectory. His appointment underscores Runwal’s commitment to building a future-ready organization rooted in innovation, agility, and people excellence.
Before joining Runwal Enterprises, Joy served as Head HR – Mumbai Zone at Godrej Properties Limited, where he played a pivotal role in driving HR transformation initiatives, capability development, and high-performance culture building. His work there contributed significantly to aligning HR practices with business objectives, reinforcing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness across the zone.
Previously, at Lodha Group, he held the role of General Manager – Organisational Transformation, where he led critical mandates in change management, talent management, and rewards, while serving as HR Business Partner across diverse business verticals including Hospitality, Property Management, and Industrial & Logistics. His leadership in R&R and HiPo programs helped embed a strong performance and recognition culture within the organization.
At Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd., Joy managed HR operations for the South region while overseeing portfolios in Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, and Rewards at the corporate level. His efforts in fostering inclusion, capability growth, and organizational learning contributed to the company’s people-first transformation. Earlier, during his tenure at Reliance Industries Limited, he held multiple leadership roles in HR transformation, capability development, and analytics, where he developed HR frameworks, e-learning platforms, and leadership workshops that drove enterprise-wide excellence.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur), Joy combines strategic acumen with analytical depth, making him well-positioned to strengthen Runwal’s talent and leadership ecosystem as the company enters its next phase of growth.
