Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, October 2025 – Minda Corporation has appointed Joy P Panda as its new Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With over two decades of experience spanning brand strategy, product management, and international markets, Panda will spearhead global branding and marketing initiatives as the company strengthens its focus on advanced automotive technologies, including electric mobility and connected vehicle solutions.
Joy Panda has been with the Spark Minda Group since 2020, serving as Vice President & Business Head, where he was responsible for the company’s P&L, strategic roadmap, and innovation leadership. His efforts placed Spark Minda as a preferred supplier for leading OEMs through technology-driven growth and operational excellence.
Prior to this, he was Vice President & Business Head at ANAND Group India, where he led a successful turnaround, scaling the business significantly and establishing strategic collaborations with global partners like Liqui Moly GmbH, Seiken Chemical Japan, and Bluetech Holdings. He also played a key role in setting up new plants and driving international partnerships.
Earlier, Panda served as Head – Strategy & Planning at Anand Automotive, working closely with the supervisory board to formulate long-term growth plans and execute transformation projects that doubled business growth trajectories.
His career began with a decade at MAHLE, where he rose to lead Supply Chain & Logistics and Exhaust Gas Recirculation projects. He drove major product launches, cost optimization, and global coordination for OEM projects with Volkswagen, Tata Motors, and General Motors, earning industry recognition including Tata Motors’ Technology Innovation Award.
Joy Panda holds a PGDIE in Supply Chain Management from IIM Mumbai and completed the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, equipping him with both strategic and global leadership expertise.
