Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, August 2024 – Julia Canfora has joined Aequilibrium as the new Director of People and Culture. In this role, she will lead the HR strategies and initiatives, focusing on fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture while driving talent management and organizational development efforts.
Before joining Aequilibrium, Julia served as the Director of Human Resources at Archiact, a hybrid team with over 100 employees, where she managed full-cycle recruitment, performance management, and HR policy design for over four years. She was instrumental in overseeing a rapidly growing team and driving HR initiatives that aligned with the company’s business objectives. Prior to that, she held the role of HR Generalist at Archiact through Miles HR, where she honed her skills in full-cycle recruitment and strategic HR planning.
Julia’s career also includes experience as the Human Resources & Facility Manager at GOLDTOOTH, where she developed talent acquisition strategies and managed HR operations, and as the Human Resources & Operations Manager at Blink Creative Agency, where she streamlined internal processes and improved recruitment efficiency.
