Quincy, Massachusetts, United States, February 2025 – Julie Chirillo has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources at NFPA (National Fire Protection Association). In her new role, she will lead the organization’s HR strategy, workforce development, and talent initiatives, reinforcing NFPA’s mission of promoting fire safety and hazard prevention worldwide.
Julie has been with NFPA for nearly five years, most recently serving as Head of Human Resources, where she played a key role in strengthening HR policies, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, and advancing employee engagement strategies. Her leadership has contributed significantly to enhancing NFPA’s workforce experience and operational efficiency.
Before joining NFPA, Julie was Vice President of Human Resources at Bay State Community Services, where she led HR transformation initiatives, employee relations, and benefits administration. During her tenure, she was instrumental in implementing progressive HR policies to support nonprofit workforce sustainability.
Earlier, she spent over 14 years at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, serving as Director of Human Resources. In this role, she oversaw talent acquisition, leadership development, and compliance programs, helping to establish a strong HR framework within the organization.
Her career began at Fallon Service Inc., where she served as Director of Human Resources, gaining foundational experience in organizational development, HR operations, and workforce planning. With over two decades of HR leadership experience, Julie brings a wealth of expertise in strategic HR management and people development.
