San Francisco, California, USA, June 2024 – Julie Klin has joined Copper as the new Vice President Global Human Resources. With extensive experience in strategic HR management, Julie brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success in human resources leadership to Copper.
Julie Klin’s most recent role was at Copper, where she served as the Global Head of People for approximately one and a half years. In this position, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of people management, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. Julie’s strategic vision and leadership significantly contributed to enhancing the company’s HR practices and driving business growth.
Before her tenure as Global Head of People, Julie was the Head of Talent Acquisition – EPD Teams (Engineering, Product, Design) at Secureframe for about eight months. In this role, she led talent acquisition efforts, focusing on hiring top talent for engineering, product, and design teams. Her expertise in talent acquisition helped Secureframe build a strong and innovative workforce.
Prior to Secureframe, Julie held the position of Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Copper for around one and a half years. She was instrumental in developing and implementing effective hiring strategies, ensuring the company attracted and retained top talent to support its rapid growth.
Julie also served as the Principal Human Resources Consultant at Scottsdale Consulting Inc. for approximately eight and a half years. In this role, she provided strategic HR consulting services to various clients, including start-ups, small to medium enterprises, and Fortune 500 companies. Her work encompassed a wide range of HR functions, including employee experience, learning and development, succession planning, performance management, and more.
Earlier in her career, Julie was the Director of Professional Services at People Store Staffing Solutions Inc. for nearly three years. She was responsible for creating and implementing successful HR and talent acquisition strategies within the organization, managing both the sales and staffing divisions.
Julie’s career also includes significant roles at PEOPLEsource Staffing Solutions Inc., where she served as the Divisional Manager, Professional Services, and Senior Professional Search Consultant for over four years. She started her career as a Sales/Customer Service Representative at Medical Mart, gaining valuable experience in sales and customer service.
