Smith as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Smith, who had been serving as interim CEO since October 2024, succeeds Cabot Earle, who now transitions to the role of Founder & Chief Strategy Officer, focusing on the company’s M&A strategy.
Smith’s appointment finalizes the executive leadership team at Metiri Group, joining Ronald Markle, Chief Financial Officer, and Sally Cummins, Chief Commercial Officer, positioning the company for the next phase of growth and transformation. Smith will lead the organization as it unites the expertise of its legacy laboratory brands and innovates how laboratories and companies collaborate.
