Lumachain, a pioneer in the application of Computer Vision-based Artificial Intelligence for the food industry, proudly announces the appointment of Justin Jones as the new Chief Operating Officer.
Jones brings over two decades of technical leadership and IT infrastructure expertise to Lumachain, a company dedicated to transforming food production and supply chain processes globally. With a career spanning 24 years, Jones has held pivotal roles in optimizing IT and security infrastructure across various industry giants.
Before joining Lumachain, Jones was the AVP, Global Head of IT at OSI Group, where he significantly enhanced IT operations and service management from May 2023 to April 2024. His efforts were pivotal in advancing OSI Group’s technological capabilities, aligning them with contemporary IT standards and improving overall business processes.
Jones also served as Director of Global IT Infrastructure, where he led major projects to upgrade network and security infrastructures. Prior to that, He was Director of Global Infrastructure and Security Services at CMC Materials from February 2018 to February 2019, where he was responsible for substantial cybersecurity initiatives and infrastructure overhauls that modernized operations and reduced risks.
Jones’s early career includes a notable tenure at Shure Incorporated, where he developed and executed strategies for network, telecommunications, and security services that significantly boosted operational efficiencies and secured enterprise data.
