In her expanded leadership role, Jyothi will lead Sagent’s global growth agenda, portfolio strategy, licensing initiatives, and strategic partnerships, strengthening the company’s position across regulated markets.
Jyothi Chaluvadi has been associated with Sagent Pharmaceuticals for over a year, most recently serving as Senior Director – Business Development & Growth Strategy, where she played a pivotal role in driving portfolio expansion, strategic collaborations, and new product launches across injectables and ophthalmics.
Alongside her leadership at Sagent, Jyothi currently serves as Head of Business Development at GCBC Vaccines Private Limited, supporting vaccine partnerships and portfolio growth initiatives.
Previously, she held senior global leadership positions at Gland Pharma USA Inc. and Gland Pharma Limited, where she led global licensing, portfolio management, technology transfer, and high-value partnership programs across the US, Canada, Europe, and ANZ markets. Her leadership included responsibility for multi-year portfolio strategy, large-scale P&L ownership, and annual revenues exceeding USD 250 million.
Earlier in her career, Jyothi spent nearly a decade with Gland Pharma Limited, progressing through multiple leadership roles in business development, licensing, alliance management, and strategic projects, driving international collaborations and regulated-market expansions.
She began her professional journey with Strides, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and early pharmaceutical internships, building a strong foundation in pharmaceutical commercialization, portfolio strategy, and international market development.
