Davis, California, United States, April 2026 – Kelley Ogden has been appointed as Chief Operations and People Officer at UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, marking a significant transition following her impactful tenure with the University of California Office of the President.
In this leadership role, Kelley Ogden will oversee operations, people strategy, and organizational effectiveness, supporting UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education’s mission as the university’s lifelong learning arm. She will play a key role in strengthening workforce development initiatives, enhancing operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the institution’s global impact.
Most recently, Kelley Ogden served as Division Director of Finance and Administration at the University of California Office of the President, where she managed the External Relations & Communications division’s operating budget and financial activities, along with overseeing human resources, facilities, procurement, and administrative services. Over her seven-year tenure, she played a critical role in enabling efficient operations and supporting systemwide initiatives across the University of California.
Earlier during her time at the University of California Office of the President, she held the role of Administrative Services Manager, where she was responsible for establishing and managing administrative operations within the State Governmental Relations Office. Her work included budgetary management, HR operations, policy implementation, and coordination of legislative and state-level engagements, contributing to the university’s broader public policy interface.
Prior to this, she spent nearly nine years with the California State University, Office of the Chancellor as Manager, Administration & Operations, where she led administrative and operational functions, supporting large-scale educational initiatives.
She began her career in higher education administration with California State University-Sacramento as an Administrative Manager, gaining foundational experience in operations, communication, and institutional management.
