Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2024 – Kankana Nagar has taken on the role of Head of Learning & Capability Building at Galaxy Surfactants Limited. In this role, Kankana will oversee the design, delivery, and enhancement of learning and capability-building initiatives, aligning them with the organization’s vision to foster a culture of continuous growth and excellence.
Kankana brings a rich tapestry of experience in learning, organizational development, and HR strategy. Prior to her current role, she served as a Learning and Development Specialist at Cipla, where she spearheaded global HR technology transformations and process improvements over nearly seven years.
Before Cipla, Kankana was a Manager of HR – OD & Special Projects at Lupin, where she led organizational development initiatives and managed special HR projects. She also worked as an independent Senior HR Consultant, providing strategic HR support to startups by institutionalizing HR systems and processes.
At Biological E. Limited, Kankana led learning, development, and talent management functions, aligning business objectives with organizational learning agendas and designing competency frameworks to enhance workforce capabilities.
Her earlier tenure at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories saw her excel in various HR roles, including organizational effectiveness and international business HR, where she provided strategic HR support for expatriates and emerging markets.
