Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, April 2025 — Kap Prabhakaran has joined Cyient as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing over two decades of global engineering and technology leadership experience from Honeywell Technology Solutions. His appointment marks a pivotal moment in Cyient’s digital transformation journey as the company strengthens its focus on next-generation innovation and scalable technology-driven growth.
In his new role, Kap leads the Cyient Technology Group, overseeing the development of cutting-edge AI, embedded systems, and digital technology solutions. He is also tasked with driving innovation across Cyient’s global engineering teams and expanding the company’s technological edge across industries.
Kap’s career spans over 26 years at Honeywell, where he held several prominent positions, including Vice President & CTO at Honeywell Process Solutions and Vice President of Engineering at Honeywell Connected Enterprise. During his tenure, he led large multi-functional teams, guided breakthrough product development, and championed strategic digitization initiatives. His leadership has been pivotal in delivering connected products, advancing aerospace technologies, and setting up global Centers of Excellence across India, the U.S., China, Czech Republic, and Canada.
In earlier roles at Honeywell, Kap was responsible for global software verification and validation across aerospace domains, including flight management systems, cockpit avionics, navigation and surveillance, and environment control systems. His contributions in establishing simulation, automation, and domain expertise have led to significant gains in cycle time reduction, cost optimization, and quality enhancement.
At Cyient, Kap’s extensive experience in developing technology-led engineering solutions is expected to accelerate the company’s innovation roadmap and enhance its ability to deliver differentiated value to its global clientele.
