Sonal Fuke Appointed as Chief People Officer at SimpleWorks

Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Sonal Fuke has taken on the role of Chief People Officer at SimpleWorks, marking a significant milestone in her journey with the organization where she has contributed for nearly five years. In this new position, she will be responsible for leading SimpleWorks’ people strategy, talent development, and culture transformation initiatives globally.

Before her appointment as Chief People Officer, Sonal Fuke served as Head of Organizational Development at SimpleWorks, where she played a pivotal role in designing and executing leadership training, emotional intelligence workshops, and employee mental well-being programs. Her expertise in Enneagram personality profiling, conflict resolution, and psychological safety has contributed to the company’s progressive work culture.

In addition to her corporate career, she is the Founder of BeSorted Psychological Solutions, a well-being center in Nagpur that focuses on executive coaching and leadership development. Her interventions blend NLP, Emotional Intelligence, and CBT techniques to empower individuals and organizations alike.

Sonal is also an Associate Professor at SMMCA Nagpur, where she integrates psychology with architectural education and trains faculty on emotional intelligence and design thinking. Earlier in her entrepreneurial journey, she founded Toddler Creed, a unique chain of child development centers that grew across multiple locations in Nagpur.

Her diverse professional background also includes experiences in architecture and real estate, having worked at Niles Bolton Associates and Long & Foster Companies in the United States.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
